Free Stayfree Pads From Riteaid 6-28-09

Ok .. so I got up and out extra early on Sunday morning to make sure I got this deal. We have some serious coupon queens in our area and we are teaching more each month so I have to get the first worm. lol :)

I usually get the local covington paper on Friday and they have a sample of some of the coupons that will be in the AJC that Sunday, I saw that the Stayfree was going to be buy one get one free(BOGO) at Riteaid and a buy one get one free coupon was in the Smartsource insert for the week. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was, FREE pads. I could stock up my house, my moms house for a year and donate some as well.

I ended up with 25 packs of Stayfree, 6 double stacks of sunday paper and came out of pocket less than $4.00. I did 3 transactions because I have 3 - $5 off $25 coupons that were printed from Coupons.com. I think they have a new one up now so please check the expiration date before you print a bunch.

Here is a sample of one of the transaction.

10 bags of stayfree 39.90
2 dbl stacks AJC 5.00
1 local paper .50
Total 45.40

Used
Rite aid sale discount -19.95
(1) $5 off $25 coupon -5.00
(5) Bogo coupons -19.95

Grand Total .50 plus tax (most times it is charget on retail amount before coupons)

To make this deal even better there is a Riteaid rebate $25.00 back on buying $50 worth of Johnsons & Johnsons products. Please copy and paste this link for a shopping senerio to get the rebate.

The stores usually restock on Wednesday so if your store does not have any get a raincheck and also go back after they restock.

6/25/09 Target Trip

As you can see, the idea of getting tea bags for less than .30 each was really exciting to me. I went to target today and they had Lipton tea products for 2.50 and if you buy 4 you get a FREE $5.00 gift card There were $1 off one coupons in the "Family is it's own reward" booklet that I found at the Publix by Rockdale Hospitol as mentioned in a previous post. You may want to try your local store to see if they have any or go to this one and check if there are any more left.

Here is how Transaction #1 went

4 teas @ $2.50 each 10.00
4 coupons @ $1 each -4.00
Total out of pocket 6.00 plus tax and got back $5 gift card
Transaction #2
4 teas @ $2.50 10.00
4 coupons @ $1 -4.00
Minus Gift card -5.00 from Transaction #1
Total out of pocket $1.00 plus tax
Transaction #3 - Same as #2
I ended with 12 Lipton Tea Products and a $5.00 Gift Card. I will probably do one more deal when my girl friend gives me her Lipton tea coupons. Not having to buy tea for 3 plus months is a great thing.

Kroger's Awesome Deals

This week at Kroger they are having an awesome sale. The items pictured are a favorite of my children and I stocked up on them. The sale is for .88 each (usually 1.79) and when you buy 10 of them you get $3.00 off your order so here is what you end up paying.

Turkey Links 10 x .88 = 8.80
Discout for buying 10 -3.00

Total 5.80 plus tax out of pocket

You can buy up to 30 on one receipt and take off $9.00 but if you want more you will have to do it in a seperate transaction for it to give you more 3.00 discounts.
For the full sales rundown go to http://www.southernsavers.com/ and click on the Kroger tab.

Friday Target Trips

This afternoon I went to Target with the kids to get some treats. There were 2 gift card offers that I liked so here they are:
The popsicles were on sale for $2.50 each and if you purchase 5 of them you got a $5 target gift card for free. I had (5) $1.00 off manufacturer's coupons that I found at the Publix by Rockdale Hospital, in the Family is it's own reward booklet. Look in the fridge section for the display with the booklets.

I bought the popsicles and then the Ice cream in the next transaction with the free gift card. Here are the figures.

5-popsicles @ 2.50 each 12.50
5-mfr cpns @ 1.00 each -5.00
Total out of pocket plus Tax $7.65
Less the gift card and this transaction cost you $2.65 for 5 boxes of pops. Not bad for tasty treats on a hot day.

Transaction #2

The Ice cream was the same deal and price as the popsicles but I had $1.50 coupons that came out of the same "Family is it's own reward" booklet and I used the Free $5 gift card to bring my total down.

Here we go:

5-Breyers Ice Cream @ $2.50each 12.50
5-1.50 mfr cpns -7.50
Total plus tax $5.15
Minus gift card -5.00
for a whopping out of pocket cost of .15
Plus I got back another $5.00 giftcard for buying the Ice cream.
Happy Sabbath to all and as always, happy shopping.

6/15/09 Walgreens Trip and my growing snack collection

I had a 8:30am Dental appointment this morning but when I got there the dentist was not in the office as yet. I waiited for about an hour and organized my coupons while I waited. When I was finished the dentist was still not in the office as yet so I went shopping and told them to call me when she got there and they were read for me. Thank goodness there was a Walgreens across the street :)
I got a few of the same deals from yesterday, the cakesters and I had 1 St. Ives coupon left which I used. I also got 2 more Hefty freezer bags but they did not make it into the picture.

Total out of pocket for all items was $3.76 after coupons and rr and got back $12rr

As you can see I am addicted to Walgreens this week, Our oldest son is going away to camp this weekend for a week and these will make a great care package for him and his cabin mates, plus I will still have 2 kids home with me.

This is between Walgreens and Publix. I had 17 chex/cheerios snack mixes and 12 cakesters. I did give a few away so far so this is what I have left. I did get a raincheck from Publix for 4 more cheerios mix since they were out when I went there on my last trip Monday evening.
