Rite Aid $5 off $25 Coupon

Oh yeah ..... We love these $5 off $25 coupons from RiteAid, I have been waiting for this to come out. You can use them there or at some Publix stores that consider RiteAid as a competitor for even greater savings. Ask your store about their policy before using to avoid any potential issues.

Coke and Nuts at CVS :-)

I went into CVS today and found these Planters nuts on clearance for $1.62. There was a coupon on the fridge for $2.00 off the purchase of any planters NUT-rition nuts 9oz or more and (1) coke 20oz product. The coke was $1.49 so .51 cents of the coupon went towards the nuts. I got both items for 1.11 plus tax.

I had $1 in extra care bucks so it was a really good deal. There are also other Planters products that are popping up on clearance so check your local stores. I do notice that what one store has on clearance is different from what another may have.

Very Very cheap toothpaste at Walgreens

This weeks meal plan.

There is one thing that never fails to happen in my house that I am sure that most of you can understand. I ask everyone "what do you want for dinner" and the answer 99.98% of the time is "I don't know". So in order to keep my sanity I have decided to to weekly meal plans like so many fellow couponers are doing.

I will pick 7 recipes each week that I will try to make. You can make anyone on any day that you choose. If you try any of these please let me know how you like them. You can also make substitutions where needed.

Faithful Fridays - You CAN"T beat God's giving!

It amazes me how we sometimes think that we give alot but when I look at what GOD has done for us on a weekly basis I am simply amazed.

A few weeks ago a brother from our church, a doctor, went to Haiti with a mission group. A friend called and asked for us to donate some medical supplies like bandaids, personal care items and any non-perishable supplies that we could.

I went into our closet and 2 thoughts came into my mind. The first was "Give all but 1 or 2 of each to last until you can get more", the second was " I can't give that much, I won't have enough and I am not sure when I will get more" I said a quick prayer and went with choice number one. Two days later I cut myself and needed one of the finger bandaids that I gave away, you know what went through my mind at that point but  I smiled and said "God is good all the time"

A week or so later I went into RiteAid on a day that I had no intention on going shopping and what happens, God sent me more pads for FREE than what I gave away and today FREE powerade and pringles.

As you go through this weekend, reflect on the things that GOD has provided for you and your family this week. Putting a twist on what a fruend once told me, "You will never be as good a friend to GOD as he is to you"

Great Deal from Cvs Today

Here is an awesome deal from CVS. I went there to buy the Dove men product that is on sale and what did I find? A coupon tearpad on the cooler where the coke products are located (some stores hae 2 coolers so check both) for $1.00 off a powerade and a pringles. These items are a part of the buy $25 in coke products and get back $10ecb deal. Here is what I did.

10 Powerades = 10.00

10 Pringles = 15.00

1 Green bag tag = $1.00

1 string of lollipops = 0.99

Used (10) $1 off coupon -10.00 = 16.99

Used -16.98 in previous ECB = 0.01 plus tax

Get back $10 in ECB

Now that i what I call an awesome shopping trip. These will make great snacks for the kids. There is a limit of 1 deal per card/household on this.

Check your local RiteAid

I found a great deal at RiteAid. I went in there by accident (well GOD sent me there) and saw that they had alot of the Kotex, Stayfree and Always  maxi pads, liners and O.B. tampons on clearance for 75% off the regular price. This bought most down to $1.Imagine my reaction as I stood there looking at a wall of marked down pads. Now the average person would be happy with this, pay their $1 and leave the store walking on cloud nine, but not me. I immediatly called my partner in crime aka my husband and had him check for coupons.  What did we find you ask, how about
