Cheap Blue Blockers at CVS

I went to Cvs today and found these great Blue Blocker Viper shades for only $1.87 with you Extracare card. They are awesome, I got them for my hubby and tried them on, needless to say I will be back getting my own pair in the Morning.

Publix Sunday Shopping 9/13/09

This is from my our Publix run this morning. We did not do too much shopping since we came home at around 4am and got up to go out at 7am. We knew that papers were going to be hard to find in my area today so we needed to get out early and by 9am all of our Cvs, Walgreens and Rite Aids were out of the double stacks.

We did a total of 10 transaction at 2 stores to get all of these.

Our Grand total $24.16 without Tax (with taxes is $31.80)

Would have cost us $320.06 before tax

So we saved $295.90 so far

I love getting a 90% discount at the store :)

I will list all the items later. Today is my mother's birthday so time to go party.

My Newspaper Collection for this Sunday

I think I had a bit too much fun today even though I did not get any of the $1 AJC coupons for this week. I could not find them before I left the house at 7am this morning.

I now have a total of 20 double stacks so I should end with at least 40 of each insert this weekend. That is not even counting what I may pick up in the morning if any is still available.

I went to several stores for these and I also have 9 of my local Covington paper with a few coupons in them.

I hope you all were able to get a few papers as well.

Sunday Senerio 9/13/09

This is what I hope to do on Sunday at Publix to get my penny item and newspapers. I usually do several transaction.

1 - AJC Double Stack $2.50
Use the 1.00 off AJC Kroger Coupon

1- Penny Item $1.50 estimate
-1.49 - Use Penny Coupon out of Paper

2 - Glade Candkes 3.19 each - 2oz ones
Use 2 - 3.00 off coupon from "One stop One Store" Booklet

2 - Yakisoba .79 each
Use .50 off Coupon - doubles to a dollar and will cover the .19 from the Candles

Total After coupons will be 1.51 plus tax

Publix Trips 9/11/09

I got just a few things today because I want to save most of my coupons for Sunday to get my papers and penny items. It is hard for me to believe that if the average person went into the store that these few items would have been well over $60 with the sale. Here is my breakdown.

7 bottles of ALL = 17.50 - 7.00 = 10.50
Used 1.00 off one from "One Stop, One Store" Booklet

6 Glade Candles = 19.14 -18.00 = 1.14
Used 3.00 off one from "One Stop One Store" Booklet

4 Toaster Strudels 4.79 - 4.00 = .79
Used 1.00 mfr coupons

9 Brown and Serve 8.51 - 0.00 = 8.51
no coupons on these - fillers for me today

3 Viactiv 23.47 - 21.00 = 2.47
Used $4 wags coupon and $3 Publix coupon in the green advantage flyer

4 Revlon Nail Clips 9.56 - 12.00 = 2.44 Overage (2 not pictured)
Used 1.00 mfr Revlon coupon
Used 2.00 Publix coupon from green advantage flyer.

That totals $23.41 but I had 16.00 in 4 off 20 coupons, so 7.41 plus tax for all these. I like that better than $60. :)

Awesome Publix Deal

Ladies, this one is for us. I bought these Viactiv Calcium chews for .50 at Publix .. how? Well I will tell you.

Walgreens has a $4 off one in there new September Coupon Booklet and Publix has a $3 off in there Green advantage flyer for this month. The product cost $7.49

Make sure that you Publix takes walgreens coupons before doing this deal. I have several Publix near and they all have different rules.

How much is it worth?

ok... so this is my first trip to 2 Publix stores on the new sale. Neadless to say I am very happy about the All being on sale this week. I hope to end the week with enough All detergent to last for a year or so lol :)

I want you all to guess how much this is all worth and how muh you think I paid I will announce who got the closest on Monday.
