Easy breezy beautiful , FREE covergirl cosmetics at Rite Aid

 

 I took a short break from Rite Aid shopping since the deals were not all that good but I have to say that they have been coming up with some "I just can't pass that up" deals lately. I went there yesterday and got the following items for a whopping $1.93 plus tax $2.18 = $4.11 Out of pocket (oop)

1. The Covergirl face cosmetics were on sale for Buy one get one (bogo) and I had a buy one get free coupon from P&G 2/07/10. This make both items FREE

2. The Trident gum were also bogo, regular price 1.49 and I had .75 coupons from SS 2/07/10 which also makes them all FREE

3. The Pampers were 9.99 and I used a $2 off 1 coupon from PG 2/21/10 

4. The Pampers wipes were 2.49 less $1.00 coupon from P&G 2/07/10

I have a $5 Riteaid rebate check and a Riteaid $3 off $15 coupon as well. If I had the $5 off $25 Rite aid coupon my total would have been $2 less but no need crying over that lol. 

Don't forget that you can get a raincheck if an item is out of stock.

You know I don't have a baby but I know someone who is about to so the diapers and the wipes will be great gifts.

Staples deals this week

 

You know that we go through a lot of printer paper when working with printable coupons and shopping lists. Staples has this deal going on now that I would not miss, each time they have this I make sure I buy the limit 

. 

Hammermill Printer Paper 500 sheets $1 (after easy rebate - done online)

You will pay about $5.99 per ream of paper, take you receipt and go to www.staples.com rebate center to put the information into the system. In a few weeks you get a check in the mail that you can deposit into your bank account. I usually keep this money to buy other items that they have on rebate again.

I have dry erase boards at home so I also picked up
2 - Quartet EnduraGlide Dry Erase Marker, $1
2 - Dry Erase Board Eraser, $1

These you do not have to submit a rebate for, they will ring up $1 at the register.There are a few other items on their flyer that you can check out, but these are what I found to be the best deal for me.

Hurry to Kroger for your flour before Saturday

There is a great deal on flour at Kroger that you all mest get ... if you use flour that is. The 5lb bag of flour is $1.49 and there is a 0.75 cents coupon available which would make each bag .75 cents each. Not a bad price for flour at all. You will need to get them by this Saturday night 3/6/10

Paying your car insurance in full saves you money!

Ok ... the ever present coupon queen in me, makes it very hard to let go of $652, even if it is for our car insurance. I used to think however that paying monthly was great because I  did not have to let go of  a lump sum all at once and let's face it most of the times we do not have that kind of spare change just lying around. Needless to say I am a convert to paying in full. Here is an example of how much you could be saving by paying you premium in full:

Pay in full and save an additional $108.00	$544.00 total cost for 6 months
Automatic payments from your checking account (includes $1.00 fee per installment*)	Pay $113.69 now, then 5 installments of $101.06 $618.99 total cost including fees (includes $43.00 discount)

As you can see paying in full (we do this online via a card that gives us 4 points per dollar) saves an extra $108. This is every 6 months so over $200 per year. Check with your insurance company what options are available to you.

Publix Trip on 03/02/10

 

Ok .. this is what less than $20.00 got me at Publix today. I  spent about $7.00 on the 2 boxes of soymilk and syrup alone, without those my total would have been lower. The eggbeaters were a last minute addition to the list as well. I had alot of coupons both manufacturer and store. Total savings was $112.54

This coming weeks sale is also a great week to stock up on frozen veggies for FREE.
